Stowaway Tabs – Privacy Policy

In short: Stowaway Tabs stores your tabs only in your own browser, on your own computer. We do not collect, receive, sell or share any of your data. The extension makes no network requests.
Who we are
Stowaway Tabs is made by New Perk Ltd, Cyprus ("New Perk", "we"). Contact: contact@newperk.ltd.
What the extension handles
To do its job, the extension reads the address (URL), title and pinned state of the tabs in your normal (non-private) browser windows. It uses them to:
- save the tabs you choose to save;
- take automatic snapshots of your open windows, so you can recover them after a crash, a restart or closing a window by mistake;
- show, search and restore what was saved.
This information is stored with the browser's extension storage on your device. It is never sent to us or to anyone else. We have no server that receives it, and we cannot see it. Private / incognito windows are never saved.
Backups and exports
When you export your data, or when you turn on automatic backups (Pro), the extension writes a file to your computer's Downloads folder. That file stays on your computer; what happens to it next is up to you.
Permissions and why we need them

What we do not do
- No analytics, tracking, telemetry or advertising.
- No account or sign-in.
- No remote code: everything the extension runs ships inside the package reviewed by the store.
- We will not sell or transfer the extension or its users to another company.
Payments (Pro)
If you buy Pro, payment is handled by ExtensionPay and Stripe, Inc. on their own pages; they receive the email address and payment details you give them, under their own privacy policies (ExtensionPay, Stripe). To check whether Pro is active, the extension then contacts ExtensionPay with an anonymous licence identifier. No tab data is ever included. We receive your email address and payment record from Stripe for accounting and support. If Pro is not offered in your version, none of this happens.
Your control
You can delete any saved item at any time (it goes to Trash and is removed for good after 30 days, or immediately if you empty the Trash). Uninstalling the extension deletes all of its stored data from your browser. You can export everything before uninstalling.
This website
The pages at newperk.ltd/stowaway/ count visits with Cloudflare Web Analytics. It sets no cookies and does not identify you; we see only totals such as page views, referring sites and countries. This applies to the web pages only: the extension sends nothing anywhere.
Children
The extension is not directed at children and does not knowingly process children's data.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date above and describe the change in the extension's release notes. We will never start collecting your tab data.
Your rights
Because we hold no personal data from the extension (apart from purchase records for Pro buyers), there is nothing for us to access, correct or delete about your browsing. Pro buyers can ask about their purchase record at contact@newperk.ltd; we are a Cyprus company and follow the EU GDPR.
